Tooth Extractions at St. Catharines Dental
Teeth are extracted for many different reasons.
Often when a tooth is heavily decayed or fractured beyond repair, an extraction will be suggested to remove the tooth and any infection associated with it. Wisdom teeth are also commonly extracted if they are impacted and/or affecting the surrounding teeth and periodontal tissues.
Following clinical and radiographic examination, St. Catharine’s Dental Centre can safely remove these teeth. If you are apprehensive, oral sedation can be prescribed and safety used during your appointment. Please contact us prior to your dental appointment to discuss sedation.
